While watching YouTube video's
this last week whenever I had a few minutes
I worked on this Gouache painting.
I used a piece of Arches 140lb Hot Press Watercolor paper
I used a reference photo from Pixabay
They have a ton of beautiful photos to choose from.
I'm not totally happy with the flowers but all in all I think it turned out alright.
Next time I think I'll paint the background first and then come back and do the flowers over the top.
Since Gouache is less opaque if mixed with less water I think that might work.
I'll have to try it to see.
Since I was just messing around when I had a chance I didn't do a video this time.
To tell you the truth I wasn't sure it would turn out very good.
It's a learning process.
