Flower...

I had time to color today. That means a new Copic Coloring Card Kit has been added to Heather's Hobbie Haven in the Previous Kits section. This kit features two CC Design images: Flower and Postage Sentiments. That's right you get both stamps. Plus enough supplies to make 3 cards and 3 yards of beautiful hand dyed seam binding. The paper is by Fancy Pants and the flower is a My Favorite Things Die-Namic: Upsy Daisy.
Head over and check it out.

October Monthly Kits..

Hey everyone.. Glad you could make it. Heather's Hobbie Haven is finally finished and open for business. The monthly kits and the store are fabulous. I redid the kits so many times I lost count. I wanted them to be perfect. I think they turned out awesome!

The October monthly kits are up and ready for Pre-Order. I'll be taking Pre-Orders for both kits from August 16th until September 15th. They will ship out the 1st week in October. That will give me time to order the stamps and get them sent. Each of these kits will also have a video tutorial showing you exactly how to color your image. So on the the kits...

October Copic Card Coloring Kit: Featuring Isla from Emerald Faerie Garden, Pink Paislee paper, My Favorite Things Die-Namics(arriving soon in the store) and hand dyed seam binding. Isn't she gorgeous!

If your just starting out collecting Copic Markers I know how expensive they can be so, I've started this first card kit with a Copic Starter Bundle. You'll get all the Copics needed to color the first card kit and then next month I'll add a few more new colors and make them into a new bundle. So along with a fun coloring project you'll also be able to add Copics to your collection a little at a time and not break the bank.

Class: October 8th from 12-3
Bring to Class:

  • adhesive
  • Pop Dots
  • October Copic Coloring Card Kit: Isla
  • Copic Markers: See Kit List

October Water Coloring Card Kit: Featuring Ebony from Emerald Faerie Garden, Pink Paislee paper, My Favorite Things Die-Namics, Magnolia DooHickey (also arriving soon in the store) and hand dyed seam binding. Isn't she also gorgeous!

Don't have any Distressing inks? Not a problem, I've made up a Water Coloring Starter Bundle to go with this kit also. We'll get started with 11 colors and add new colors as we go along.

Bring to Class:

  • Tank Water Brush
  • Adhesive

What's in a Card Kit

What's In a Card Kit:
My new online store will carry card kits. I have so much fun making them and all the girls in my classes are always asking me when I'll be making extra kits for class. So I thought I would make it an online business. Maybe others would like to get there hands on some kits and follow along with a video I've whipped up. Not every card kit will have a video, but I'll be making new ones regularly.

My kits will include enough supplies to make three cards. Everything will be pre-cut and ready for you to put together. They will also include the stamp I have used and any embellishments like pearls or buttons. There will be a full sheet of instructions and a colored picture. All you have to do is stamp and color your image and ta-da you have some a handmade cards ready to send or give away. How about inviting a friend over for an afternoon of coloring and you both making a card.

I'll be using fun different stamp companies so we don't get bored.  Hope you'll head over to the store and check it out.
