In today's online class I worked on Day 116 in the
Psalm 63:3-4
My lips will glorify you because your faithful love is better than life. So I will bless you as long as I live; at your name, I will lift up my hands.
Today's story is about life being hard.
Having a baby alone because your husband is deployed overseas.
Finishing a project and telling a friend to only have them say discouraging words.
Having a friend and family member become ill.
We live in a broken world.
Some days, life seems to crumble around us.
The family can't or won't, be there when you need them.
Everyone and everything on earth will let you down sooner or later, but God never does.
God has a special love for us.
Jesus is living proof of God's faithful love.
He is God's promise to us, made flesh.
Have you ever had a friend let you down?
Or have you ever let a friend down?
Do you have a sick friend or family member?
I sure have.
Life hands out hard tough times.
Some days seem to be worse than others.
God is there for us.
You just have to ask.
He's listening.
