In today's online class I worked on Day 130 in the
1 Corinthians 12:26
So if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it;
if one is honored, all members rejoice with it.
Today's story is about caring for others.
Consider your own body for a minute.
When one part of your body hurts,
the rest of the body pays attention and does what it can to relieve and care for the hurt part.
In the story, the youngest son was born prematurely.
Fast forward a few years and the boy began to have dental issues.
This didn't make since none of the other children hard dental issues.
The pediatric dentist told us that during the child's early days the energy that would have gone to forming strong teeth was diverted to fighting illness and literally saving his life.
His bod "rearranged" its priorities for the weak, sick, and suffering parts at the expense of another "member".
You or I may not understand why someone hurts but that they hurt is reason enough to care and do what we can to relieve the pain.
