I hope your day is going great.
In today's online class I worked on Day 262 in the
Psalm 141:3
Lord, set up a guard for my mouth; keep watch at the door of my lips.
Today's story is about guarding our mouths.
Do you ever have to be right about something?
Do you argue your point?
Do you speak up even when you should remain silent?
I do.
Today's verse says we can ask God to guard our mouth.
He can keep watch.
Instead of voicing our argument out loud we can tell God our words and He will listen.
He isn't put off by our honesty.
He isn't unfamiliar with our struggles.
We can rest knowing our defense and reputation are in the hands of God.
What an awesome lesson.
Sometimes we just need to be quiet.
