Hey there.
I hope your day is going great!
In today's online class I worked on Day 283 in the
Matthew 7:2
For you will be judged by the same standard with which you judge others, and you will be measured by the same measure you use.
Today's story is about judging.
Every Sunday morning you make that extra effort to say to everyone in the church.
You know shake hands, smile, say hello.
Everyone receives you with cheerful greetings and a hug.
But one.
She barely says hi let alone gives you a cheerful smile and a hug.
What is her problem?
She isn't very nice.
She should know better!
Then one day you mention to a friend at church that she isn't very friendly.
With a frown in your voice.
Your friends reply "Oh that poor woman. She lost her young daughter not long before you joined the church".
Do you feel small?
Were you wrong to jump to conclusions?
It probably took everything she had to get out of bed and come to church at all.
Let alone be cheerful.
That small hi she said was all she could give.
We just never know what someone is going through.
We need to treat everyone how we would want to be treated.
How God treats us.
With love.
Today think of that hard-to-love person in your life and ask God to help you grow in grace for that person today.
