The cute little dog flying his plane.

I Love it!

If you don't like the dog you can choose an elephant, fox, or rabbit.

I'm already thinking of which image to color next.

I have a couple of birthdays coming up and this set would be great for a girl or boy's birthday.

Hello Bluebird Maverick Stamp Set & Coordinating Die

To make it even more fun I popped the airplane up on a mini Action Wobble.

So it wobbles around like he's flying.

Super fun!

FYI: It wobbles best if you put the thicker part of the wobble on the card base and the thinner part on the piece you want to wobble around.

For the background piece, I sponged on some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and then sprayed it with water and let it sit for a few seconds then dabbed it up. Then I diluted some Peacock Feathers Distress Ink with some Sheer Shimmer Spritz Sparkle spray and splattered it on.

So it's got some sparkle when you move it around.

I used the My Favorite Things Puffy Clouds die for the clouds but if you have the coordinating Maverick die set you could use the clouds from that.

I totally forgot about the clouds in the set when I was searching for a cloud die in my stash.

Last but not least to add a little interest to the eyes of the images and the dots on the airplane I used a 

Sakura Black Glaze Pen and a Sharpie White Paint Pen to add high lights to the airplane and dog hat.

Hello, there craft friend!

How are you doing?

Surviving the current circumstances.

Staying safe I hope.

We are on day 35 of the kid being home all day every day and me working remotely for work.

Let me just say it's not going very well.

Why can't kids just do their school work without us having to constantly nag them?

Do they act this way at school?

I sure hope not.

I spend the entire day saying:

What are you doing?

Sit down and do your schoolwork!

No, you may not have a break you haven't done anything yet.

No, it's not time for breakfast.

You should have done that already it's 10am.

No, it's not the time for lunch!

It's 10:01 am.

I mean really all day every day.

I don't think I'm going to make it most days.

I can completely relate to my history teacher having "Special Coffee" in his coffee cup now.

I'm thinking I need to have a "Special Drink" in my cup all day too.

I just have to remember this soon will pass...

I don't know what happened but I got to sit down in my room and color last night.

I colored the girl and made the whole card up.

I think GOD had something to do with it.

He surely knew I was going to crack.

The child didn't come into my room once.

Usually, the minute my butts sit in my chair there they are wanting something or getting into all my stuff.

So I'm pretty excited that I got to have a night of relaxation.

It's was almost like going to the spa.

Theresa does a fabulous job of making up 5 cards.

Isn't that girl adorable?

She's from the new My Favorite Things stamp set Unicorns & Glitter.

For the back ground I used the

Hello, there a long time no see.

I hope all is going well with you.

I haven't been too crafty for a while.

As you know if you stop by here.

But I did manage to whip up this cutie this week.

Of course, the package didn't have a name on it but I did a Google search and figured it out.

This beauty is called 

Cause I Love You

I love the color of her shirt.

It has some dark V09 and some light V05 along with three others. 

Make sure and save the PIN card at the bottom for future reference and watch the video on how I colored it.

I stamped a sentiment from the Altnew Sweet Friend stamp set but I left the tag blank for you to stamp whatever sentiment you would like to use.

I also really like that die cut heart from 

La La Land Crafts It's called Lacy Heart.

I always forget but all those hearts would make great shaker card elements.

This is a quick and easy card to make and put together.

The Fabulous Font Duo

Hello friend!

I don't know about you but I LOVE fonts.

The Fabulous Font Duo gives you a bunch of fonts that go together.

I always have a hard time deciding on two fonts that look good together.

This takes the guess work out for you.

These would be perfect for those last-minute Christmas cards.

I love printing my own sentiments and cutting them out to add to my cards.

I know a lot of stamp sets come with sentiments but I still like to make up my own on occasion.

Hello, there my coloring friend!

Today we are going to be doing some masking and building a scene using the My Favorite Things Snow Buddies stamp set.

This is a super cute stamp set with 2 cute girls and 2 adorable dogs along with a snowman and fence to build lots of different winter scenes.

In the video, I show you how I masked my images to build them on top of each other using Post It Full Stick Notes

I love these things as the entire back has adhesive on it.

Perfect for these smaller stamps and masking.

Barnyard Animal Cubbies

Aren't they super cute?

I love how that the stamps et comes with the die and that the bard die cuts out all the windows and makes the doors open.

It makes it so much easier.

I probably should have put a darker card stock behind al the opening so you couldn't see the background paper, but I didn't think about it until after I did the card up.

Next time!

I also love that you get 7 different animals so you can mix and match them up for different looks.

The animals are super quick to color up so you could make up a bunch.

The bard took the longest to color.

I'm thinking next time maybe doing some wood siding on the bard to change it up.

I used the My Favorite Things Slider Surprise die so I could put a gift card or secret message inside.
