(In) Courage - A Moment to Breathe - Day 53

Hi!

I hope you are having a fabulous day.

Today I worked on Day 53 in the 

(In)Courage A Moment to Breathe 365 day devotional.

Habakkuk 1:5

Look at the nations and watch-

and be utterly amazed.

For I am going to do something in your days

that you would not believe, even if you were told.

Today's story is about a mother having a fetal MRI.

About her laying there in the machine worrying and praying

for her unborn child.

Imagining the miracle that was going to happen.

Surely this would be the miracle they would have right?

God brought her into the goodness of the child's first smile with his wide cleft.

God brought her into the goodness of the same child with his second smile with the tiniest ghost of a scar on his upper lip.

Perhaps it is not the miracles we expect,

but the ones God astonishes us with,

that draw us nearer.

Trust that He is writing the story and can do immeasurably more than you can imagine.

God has you.

He will not let you down.
