Hello!
I hope you are having a wonderful week.
Dayspring sent me this planner a while back and I haven't had a chance to really do anything with it.
Besides, put all the birthdays and no school days on the calendar pages.
So I thought I would break it out and decorate next week's pages.
I still had the Altenew watercolors sitting on my desk that I wanted to play with some more so thought why not.
I used some Arteza watercolor paper.
You won't need anything fancy.
It's going into your planner.
Since it's watercolor paper I used my
Tim Holtz Stamp Platform to stamp the
Altenew Perfectly Perfect flowers.
That way I could stamp it 2-3 times to make sure I got a good impression before embossing.
Make sure you use your embossing prep tool before stamping it will help keep stray embossing powder from sticking places you don't want it too!
I say this because I forgot and messed up the first couple flowers I stamped.
The second batch turned out fine.
This stuff really rocks.
Then I watercolored all the flowers and leaves I stamped with the Altenew Water Color set.
I stamped a bunch more then I used.
I might have enough left over to make a card.
I used the Perfectly Perfect Die to cut them out.
You know me and fussy cutting.
I can do it but would rather use a die.
It's so quick and easy!
So I've decorated my first week.
Now, what should I do with it?
I thought about using it for daily scripture writing.
But will I keep up with it?
If I use a daily scripture app will the scripture fit into the space?
I guess I shouldn't stress over it.
If I do it great, if I don't it will be fine.
Do you use a planner?
What do you put in yours?
I hope you are having a great day!
