Winter Fairy Alternate Coloring..

Hey everyone if you bought the Winter Fairy Water Coloring Card Kit.. I did an alternate coloring for you to try. The instructions that come with the kits are perfect if your just starting out or want to get done quick. The whole point when I made the kits up was to try and use as few colors as possible. I've used a bunch in this new coloring. Here's a picture of the whole card. I used the exact same lay out and papers, but doesn't it look different.. Oh I also used Liquid Applique on the fur parts this time. You can click over and see the original HERE.

Lets zoom in.. If you click on the picture it will enlarge..

If you'd like to try this way...
Here are the colors:

  • Shadow: Tumbled Glass
  • Skin: Tattered Rose & Vintage Photo (Mixed)
  • Cheeks: Aged Mahogany (Diluted, Mostly Water)
  • Hair: Antique Linen, Walnut Stain ( Added in Layers)
  • Coat/Boots: Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain ( Shadow)
  • Gloves/Pants: Stormy Sky, Weathered Wood (Shadow)
  • Outer Wings: Tumbled Glass, Stormy Sky (Shadow), Weathered Wood (Deep Shadow)
  • Inner Wings: Victorian Velvet, Fired Brick (Shadow), Bundled Sage (Dots & Small Accents)
  • Ear Muff: Victorian Velvet, Fired Brick (Shadow)
  • Leaves/Flowers on Coat: Bundled Sage, Forest Moss (Shadows)
  • Berries: Aged Mahogany, Fired Brick (I used both, not mixed)
  • Bird: Pumice Stone, Fired Brick (Accent)
  • Flowers in Hair: Bundled Sage, Fired Brick
If you have questions feel free to leave a comment.. Give it a try!! Tell me how it turned out..
If you haven't picked up one of these cute kits yet head over to Heather's Hobbie Haven and grab one. I had to order more of these cute Winter Fairy Stamps and make up more kits already, but when these are gone that's it.. Too many stamps, not enough time!!
