Have you ever colored something and just aren't happy with what you get?
Yep this happen's to me all the time.
I'm still working on Christmas card kits and I want to use this cute Pixie Tilda.
On this Snowy Roof.
Coloring number 1.
After I got done coloring this one I decided I didn't want her hanging off the bottom of the paper.
So it needed to be longer.
So comes coloring number 2.
I got this one all colored and decided I didn't like the warm grays I had colored under the yellows.
Note I also changed the color of the chimney
and
I thought the house need some lines for siding it looked to plain.
Houses are not the smooth.
Coloring 3 made it as far as being mounted onto a brown mat.
But once Pixie Tilda was displayed on the front I couldn't see her very well against the yellow.
You'd think I would have decided that with coloring number 2.
But no.
Oh and I hated how much Tumbled Glass distress ink I used in the sky.
Coloring 4....
I think we have a winner.
I like the lines I drew on for the siding.
I like that you can really see Pixie Tilda when she's attached to the front.
I like that she isn't hanging off into space
and
I'm happy with the color off the roof and chimney.
I haven't decide if I'll add some clouds to the sky yet or not...
So see your not the only one who has those days when coloring.
I have been working on this same card for three days.
Did I think about throwing the whole thing back into the coloring box
and forgetting about it?
YES
But knew I had to get it done for Christmas card kits.
So I kept coming back and starting over.
Now to bling it up and actually make the card..
See you tomorrow for the finished card...
Have a great day!
