Garden Treasure Water Color

Today I'm using a couple of Altenew stamp sets.

Garden Treasure and Adore You.

I first treated my panel with an anti-static powder tool and then stamped my images on Arches 140lb Cold Press Water Color Paper with VersaMark Ink.

I stamped the larger image on a post it note and cut it out for a mask so the other images could appear to be behind the large flower.

I embossed it with WOW Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder.

I picked up a few of the Prima Color Philosophy Ink Pads a while back with the intent of using them for water coloring.

I must say I like the results.

I used ink right out of the top lid to color my images.

I heat set between layers to dry and then just kept adding more until I got the result I liked.

I'll definitely be picking up the rest of these ink pads for the store. They worked great. I can't wait to try stamping the image with the ink and then using that ink to color the image with.
