I hope your day is going great.
In today's online class I worked on Day 219 in the
Psalm 82:3-4
Provide justice for the needy and the fatherless; uphold the rights of the oppressed and the destitute. Rescue the poor and needy; save them from the power of the wicked.
Today's story is about serving.
Do you ever see homeless people around town?
I do.
Do you ignore them?
I do.
I try to avoid them as much as possible unless they talk to me.
Do you do that?
Today says we should tune so we don't avoid what makes us uncomfortable.
We pray for our neighbors in Christ and for our hearts to be moved to service.
We listen to the needs of those in our community who are crying for justice.
Demonstrate Christ's love in action.
It doesn't have to be big or grandiose.
Just one small gesture.
One simple act of kindness.
I know it's hard but let's give it a try.
