In today's online class I worked on Day 318 in the
Deuteronomy 30:16
For I am commanding you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commands, statues, and ordinances, so that you may live and multiply, and the Lord your God may bless you in the land you are entering to possess.
Today's story is about following the right way.
Have you ever had a child do things you tell them not to?
Maybe you told them countless times not to do something and they do it anyways and then they get hurt.
Then they blame you for letting them get hurt.
Don't we as adults do things we know we aren't supposed to do?
Doesn't God inform us of the places we shouldn't go?
He gives us a roadmap and we don't follow it.
Of course, we are going to get hurt.
Of course, we are going to miss our destination.
We might even miss our purpose if we aren't following the right path.
His directions keep us from shame, guilt, and regret.
They offer us joy, fulfillment, and purpose.
Let's walk hand in hand with God.
Let's spend a little time soaking in His Word today.
