Hello, my friend.
Today we are doing some water coloring.
We are using a My Favorite Things stamp called
This stamp measures approximately 3.5" x 5.25".
So pretty large but still has room for a sentiment on a
4.25 x 5.5 card.
These flowers have a lot of open space that is perfect for water coloring.
I stamped my image using my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform with Ranger Antique Linen Distress Ink on Arches 140lb Cold Press Watercolor Paper.
Then I painted my image with M.Graham tube watercolors in Mineral Violet, Olive Green, Sap Green, Naples Yellow, Raw Umber and Payne's Gray.
I'm really loving these watercolor and can't wait to add more to my collection.
It took me about 2 hours to watercolor this image.
So I had to speed up the painting in the video below so you wouldn't have to watch it all day.

Once I colored my image I stamped my sentiment from the My Favorite Things Sweet Sentiments set with Versamark Ink then embossed it with some Ranger Super Fine Detail Gold Embossing Powder on some Bazzill Raven Card Stock. Don't forget to use your powder prep tool to avoid embossing powder from sticking where you don't want it to.
I cut out my sentiments using the My Favorite Things Skinny Strips die and Sweet Die.
I think it turned out gorgeous!
Thanks for stopping by.
I hope you are having a wonderful day!
