Heather's Hobbie Haven - No Line Watercolor - My Favorite Things - Fresh Cut Flowers - Card 2

Today we are doing some more water coloring.
We are making a second card using the My Favorite Things stamp Fresh Cut Flowers.
Today's card is 5x7.
A little bigger to accommodate the Honey Bee Stamps Scalloped A7 Honey Cut Die.

I placed my Arches 140lb Cold Press Watercolor Paper in my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform and prepped it with an Anti Static Powder Tool. Then stamped it with VersaMark Ink.

I then taped my image down to a clipboard with painters tape and painted my image with M.Graham tube watercolors in  Naples YellowPayne's Gray, Quinacridone Violet, and Sap Green.
Not a lot of colors today. Let's keep it simple.

It took me about 45 minutes to watercolor this image in real time. For me, that's pretty quick.

After my image was completely dry I removed the painter's tape. Always wait for it to dry so you don't risk tearing your paper.
For the sentiment, I used the My Favorite Things Sweet Sentiments Stamp Set and Sweet Die.
The card is flat. No pop up's today.

I think it turned out really pretty.
What do you think?

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a great weekend!
