Seven Feathers...

Saturday at Seven Feathers.
This is the calm before the 250 croppers came rushing through the door.
It looks so peaceful.

A minute before they opened the doors I decided I better take a couple of photo's of the booth.
I need to practice holding still more.

The table in front had ladies in and out all day doing the make-n-take coloring project.
It was very fun!

Here's my fabulous hubby Mike do the final check list.
This is after he said hey where's the cash box?
Oh no... :O(
I left it at home.
Lucky for me we were at the Casino I just went out and got change.
I'm definitely making a to take list for next time.
He was a sport running the cash register all day.
Thanks a bunch Honey!!
I couldn't have done it with out you there.

We both had a wonderful time.
Loved see all you ladies.
Can't wait to see you at the next event.

Hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Weekend.
I've got everything put back where it goes.
So now to get some coloring and video's done.

Posh Has A Present Card Kit...

So I started the July Water Coloring Card Kit video today.
Had to redo it three times because I forgot to hit record. Dah!!
Nothing like talking to yourself about the same thing three times in a row.
I decided I better walk away and come back to it.
Or risk having a melt down.
So I'll finish that up in the morning.

But I have this cute Copic Coloring Card Kit - Posh Has A Present.
She is another Stamping Bella image from my pile.
Isn't she totally cute!
I have used the fun Echo Park Hello Summer Collection.
I love the fun bright colors.

Have a wonderful day.
Check back tomorrow for the video.

Product Review....

Ok so I was watching a video by Amy over at Prairie Paper & Ink.
I watch her video's all the time!
The video was about different kinds of black ink.
Ok I thought so black ink is all the same right?
Why do you need so many?
I only need
Memento: Tuxedo Black to stamp images to use my Copic Markers
and
Archival: Jet Black to stamp images to Water Color.

But I have noticed that when I stamp sentiments they don't come out as crisp.
So after watching Amy's video I decided to get both the

And give them a try.

So I have to admit they both work way better for stamping sentiments.
They are just darker and more crisp.

My personal favorite is VersaFine, but only because I don't have to heat set it.
I'm lazy I can admit it.
But the Brilliance would be wonderful for embossed sentiments.
Or if you just have time to let it dry.
I'm way happier with my sentiments now that they stamp darker.
Give them a try you maybe surprised just like me.

Who knew... you can't have too many black ink pads.

All these ink pads and reinkers can be found at Heather's Hobbie Haven.

July Monthly Card Kits - Molly Makes a Detour and Felicity & Blair

July's Monthly Card Kits feature Stamping Bella stamps.
I've had these in the box along with a bunch more that I knew had to get used this month.
Since we haven't had any Stamping Bella images yet I thought July would be perfect.

Isn't she cute?
I love those huge suitcases.
The image is quite large: 4.25" x 2.75"
So not a lot of room for embellishments.
Plus I wanted to use the sentiment that comes with it.
The adorable paper is Imaginisce - Sole Sisters.
It's really fun with purses, shoes and girlie stuff.

I have used one of the new Distress Inks Gathered Twigs.
So if your picking up the kit don't forget that.

Two friends having some fun.
This image is 4.75" x 2.5".
Another big one.
I made the card 5" x 7" this time.
It also comes with the sentiment.
"friends like you make this world a better place for me"
I cut mine apart and attached the rest of the sentiment inside the card.
The pretty paper is Echo Park - Hello Summer

Both stamps come Un-Mounted.
So I have included the EZ Mount in your kit to mount them.

I'll be working on the tutorials for these pretty soon. and posting them.
So head over to the store and pick up your kits so you can color along.

Thanks for all the well wishes on Natalie Ann.
She's doing wonderful and is lots of fun.
That's why I'm late posting today.
I spent the day driving her and mommy to the doctor along with my other daughter who is expecting in July.
Of course they had different appointment and doctor times.
Oh and cuddling on the couch. :O)

Have a wonderful day!

Spring Bringer Card Kit...

I colored this image before picking the paper.
I wanted her to have the bright orange - red hair.
But with no paper picked out I just colored along making everything go with the hair color I had picked out.
So when I went to get paper for it.
I was limited to what would go with the colors I picked.
Now I remember why I almost always pick a pattern paper first.
The beautiful paper is Kaiser Craft: Sweet Nothings

I love that My Favorite Things High Tea Doily.
I wanted to really see it, so no flowers this time.

Thanks for stopping in.
I hope you have a great day!

Balloon Kaylee Card Kit...

I was checking to see how many stamps I had in the store yesterday so I could order a spinning rack and came across this cute Balloon Kaylee stamp by Some Odd Girl.
I was like why is this cutie still here?
So I grabbed them off the hanger and made a card kit out of her.
The stamp set has Balloon Kaylee & the Happy Birthday Sentiment.
Didn't she turn out CUTE!

The beautiful paper is Echo Park This & That Graceful Collection.
I picked the diamond paper out before I colored my image so I could match my colors to the paper.
Picking a piece of paper first makes the coloring easier for me.

You just never know what you'll find in the Stamp Section in the store.

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a Great Day!

Tilda Loves Flowers...

Check out this beautiful Copic Coloring Card Kit: Tilda Loves Flowers image.
Isn't she a doll?
I love those pretty flowers.
I decided to try something different this time and cut out a frame to
go over the image.
I used my spellbinder dies and it was super easy.
The beautiful paper is Basic Grey - What's Up Collection.

I'm currently working on a video for the Goldie Card Kit.
I thought it would be fun showing the hair coloring and how I did
the bubbles over the top of her scales.
So keep a look out for that.
I'll try and work on that today.

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a great day!

Tilda with Arrow...

Oh my isn't this Tilda cute?
This is Copic Card Kit is called  Tilda with Arrow.
The paper is from the New Basic Grey - What's Up Collection
Isn't it wonderful?
I wasn't sure about it when I got it out of the box,
But now I Love it!

So this card it totally beautiful, but what if you added the Apple Basket Accessory Stamp?

Cute right?
I took off the mat under the image and added the super cute tag.
I stamped the sentiment with the sentiment that comes with the June Water Coloring Card Kit.

If you buy this kit and the Apple Basket stamp I'll toss in the tag so you can make either card.
I'll even stamp the sentiment on the tag.
Or you can get the June Water Coloring kit  Party Lucy too and have a fabulous sentiment set.

Thanks for stopping by!
